Klip Privacy Policy

What we collect

Klip collects the absolute minimum necessary to function:

• Domain names of checkout pages you visit (e.g. "amazon.com") — sent to our server to look up available coupon codes. We do not store which domains you visit.
• Anonymous coupon usage events — when a code is successfully applied, we log that it worked (no user identity attached).

What we do NOT collect

• Your name, email, or any account information
• Your browsing history
• Your payment or card information
• Your order totals or purchase amounts
• Any personally identifiable information

Affiliate commissions

Klip earns a commission from retailers when a coupon code we applied results in a completed purchase. We only earn this commission when we have actually provided you a working discount — never on purchases where we provided no value. This complies with Google Chrome Web Store affiliate policies (updated March 2025).

No data selling

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

Data retention

Coupon lookup requests are not logged with any user identifier. Anonymous aggregate statistics (e.g. "SAVE20 worked on nike.com 47 times today") may be retained to improve code quality.
